Time is flying!

Oh my goodness, has it really been almost 3 weeks since my last post? Eeks! Finn & I both ended up with a few complications. Finn is 100% ok. Mommy is still on the mend. I was given antibiotics for an infection and they really did a job on my tummy. I'm not sure when my stomach will be right again. I'm also dealing with a little postpartum depression, which is getting a bit better everyday!
Finnegan George ~ Day 1 ~ 12/5

I'm so in love, I can't even describe it!
Birth Story:
I had awful contractions all Thursday night. I went into the hospital at 10 am on Friday. I couldn't walk or talk through the contractions I was having. When I was checked at 11 am, I was 5 cm dilated. I was so happy that all that pain was actually doing something.
I got the epidural at noon and then felt awesome. My contractions were irregular so they gave me pitocin. At 5 pm I was 9 cm. I was feeling the contractions pretty bad again and Finn's heartrate was dropping each time I had a contraction.
The ob had me push a couple times and his heartrate dropped even lower. So they did an emergency c-section. It all happened so fast and was pretty scary.
Finn was born at 6:21 pm weighing 8 lbs, 6 oz & 20.5 inches long. I didn't get to hold him for the first time until about 8:30 pm.
